Newest Release of CMMWorks Improves Integration and Functionality

AccuMetria announces the official release of CMMWorks version 1.5, a powerful and affordable off-line Coordinate Measuring Machine programming and simulation software package integrated into SolidWorks™. CMMWorks version 1.5 features a fully associative integration with SolidWorks, recognizing changes to the model and simplifying modifications to the part program.
Version 1.5 of CMMWorks notifies the user if their SolidWorks model has changed, then allows them to easily update the part program to reflect the changes to part geometry or position in the workcell. CMMWorks now allows for complete part substitution, so that part families can be more easily programmed. CMMWorks 1.5 also features new CMM commands, context sensitive help and improvements to path generation, post processors, user interface and program editing.
